The fishing tourism begun by this cooperative of fishers in Emilia-Romagna is important, enjoyable and educative for all tourists and local people, especially for families and children. They offer excursions on fishing boats where you can experience firsthand fishing techniques, visit the mussel farms or other characteristic places linked to fishing activities in the Cesenatico area, such as the Fish Market, the Seafaring Museum and the fisher villages. Especially interesting for children is the setting up and hauling in of the driftnets, of the seasnail baskets and the cuttlefish traps, and then trying the cooked catch on board or also on land, everything following local traditional recipes.
