Philippe Botti

Philippe Botti is a professional fisherman from Bonifacio. He was for many years the first “prud'homme” of Bonifacio. The “prud'homies” are professional fishing organisations, only in the Mediterranean, whose function is "to enforce a discipline of cohabitation of selective fishing techniques and equitable distribution of marine resources conceived as a common good". He practiced for many years (2014 to 2019) the pescatourism before buying a trawler.. Today, he wishes to diversify by processing the products of his fishing, in particular the species that are not very popular, collectively with other fishermen from Bonifacio (organised in a cooperative). The regulatory framework of ittitourism in Italy would be a plus if it could be applied to Corsica and give it the possibility of tasting the products of its fishing.
